Somehow, someway, people always seem eager to call out Stephen Curry’s wife Ayesha Curry for everything she does. Either bringing up the time she claimed the NBA Finals were rigged or mocking her for her cook show.
However, this time people took it way too far. Ayesha Curry became a Trending Topic on Twitter just minutes after posting a picture with an Instagram filter that turned her blonde, causing a lot of mixed reactions around social media.
Some people claimed Ayesha looked great and could totally rock that blonde look, while others went as far as to think that Stephen Curry was cheating on her or that she was ‘trying to look white’.
Ayesha Curry Says People Take Everything Too Serious
That’s why the wife of the 3-time NBA Champion had to take it to Twitter to tell people to just chill, claiming that she was just having fun with an Instagram filter and that people shouldn’t take it all that seriously:
“It’s the fun wig for a switch up and extremely common IG filter we all use from time to time for me… I just…y’all be taking this stuff wayyy to serious,” Ayesha tweeted in the wake of her pic as a blonde.
Stephen Curry Calls Out The Haters, Wants His Wife To Know She’s Beautiful
As for Stephen Curry, the Golden State Warriors superstar didn’t hesitate to step up for his better half and call out the haters, telling her that she looks beautiful and joking that he’d still love her if her wig fell off on the bedroom:
“You beautiful baby. And don’t you let anybody tell you differently ok? I mean it. There’s just a bunch of meanies out there and I don’t like it. I don’t like it one bit. Do you boo boo,” Steph said. “P.S. If the wig falls off I won’t tell anybody, I promise. Pinky promise. It be hilarious though, but won’t anybody know. Wait- that’s been you in this bed the whole time??? I ain’t even know. Now I’m tripping,” he joked.
It’s kind of sad to see that Curry actually had to step up for his wife after people started trolling her for just using an Instagram filter. We get it, she’s rich, famous, and her life will always be scrutinized, but c’mon people. That’s just mean.
