Arguably the greatest shooter of all time, Stephen Curry is still writing history in the NBA as he continues playing at his best leading the Golden State Warriors to a fantastic start to the season. And Steve Kerr is clearly in awe of his performances, as he’s drawn parallels between him and Michael Jordan.

Curry’s talent is undeniable and, with many years left in his career, he has already cemented a legacy that will live long in basketball history. But somehow, he has not been compared to MJ that much before.

Well, not manyplayers besides LeBron James were thrown into the GOAT debate, to be honest. Not even Steph, who has proven year after year his greatness. But his coach didit and heexplained why.

Steve Kerrseessimilarities betweenStephen Curry and Michael Jordan

At 33 years of age, Stephen Curry is stillplaying at an MVP level. Not many people have done it before, but Steve Kerr has likened the Warriors superstar with the Chicago Bulls legend.

“I think Steph, in a lot of ways, is like Michael Jordan,” Kerr said, as quoted by NBC Sports. “There are so many moments that they just all blend together. They don’t even stand out because that’s just what you expect. And maybe that’s the true sign of greatness.

“Every single night [fans] are going to see something special. And when you do something over and over and over again, it’s harder for one particular night to stand out. It’s become routine for him.”

A comparison that some willconsider a bit bold, what Kerr says actually makessense. He describes how Curry has asimilar impact to what MJhadwhenever he played, and thatboth haveshown they can stand outas if it were something completely ordinary for them.

Then again, many people wouldn’t even dare to putsomeoneon the same level as Michael Jordan, and it’s fine. But Steve Kerr knows a thing or two about MJ as well, and if he sees these similarities, they shouldn’t be considered toocrazy.
