Bo Nix will once again be in charge of leading the way for a Denver Broncos team looking to improve on last season’s results — no small task. The good news for Sean Payton and company is that they could be getting back a key player ahead of the 2025 NFL season.

Week 3 of last season marked a turning point in Alex Singleton’s career. After the severity of his injury was confirmed — a torn ACL — he was forced to remain on the sideline and has been out ever since.

Despite that, in recent comments to the media, the talented linebacker expressed optimism about a potential return to the field, focusing his excitement on wearing the Broncos helmet once again for the upcoming season.

“We have practices in a few weeks and you guys can see for yourselves where I’m at . . . I think I’m getting my helmet fitted next week,” Singleton stated, via Parker Gabriel of the Denver Post.

I think that’ll be a little happy moment. Then the first OTAs. All these happy moments. And then training camp, it’ll be like, ‘Oh, we’re back.’ I think it’ll be really cool to get to do those things and get to do that,” he also added.

Can the Broncos bounce back in 2025?

With Bo Nix once again as the starting quarterback, the Denver Broncos head into the 2025 NFL season with renewed hope under center. Head coach Sean Payton remains at the helm, providing continuity and leadership as the team looks to turn the page after a challenging campaign.

A potential boost for the defense comes with the anticipated return of linebacker Alex Singleton, who missed most of last season due to a torn ACL. His experience and energy could be crucial in solidifying a unit that also welcomed new talent through the draft, including cornerback Jahdae Barron, selected with the 20th overall pick.

In a stacked AFC West, the Broncos will face stiff competition. Their mission is clear: dethrone Kansas City Chiefs while also staying ahead of the Chargers and Raiders. With a mix of veteran leadership and young potential, Denver aims to make a serious push for postseason relevance.
