In a shocking turn of events, Aaron Rodgers will now be part of the great AFC North rivalry between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens. A few years ago, no one could have imagined that happening. Not even John Harbaugh.
After facing Ben Roethlisberger for many years, the Ravens’ head coach will now have to go up against another future Hall of Fame quarterback at least twice a season. This was his reaction upon hearing the news:
“I really don’t have a reaction. I mean, just respect. Respect for the Steelers, obviously. Respect for the team that they have. The coaches that they have. The head coach, Coach Tomlin. Obviously, we’ve always respected Aaron Rodgers. He’s a Hall of Fame quarterback. So, we’ll have to go against a Hall of Fame quarterback with one of the premier teams in the league, who happens to be our archrival. So, we’ll be preparing for that.”
Aaron Rodgers will be part of Steelers vs Ravens rivalry
Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Baltimore Ravens on the road in Week 14. Then, in a game that could be key in determining the future of the AFC North, they’ll meet again in Week 18 at Acrisure Stadium.
There’s unfinished business between these two teams, considering the Ravens crushed the Steelers last season in the Wild Card round with a 28-14 win. Baltimore ran for nearly 300 yards, exposing Mike Tomlin’s defense.
