Stephen Curry might be the greatest shooter in NBA history, but none of that wouldāve been possible if it werenāt for his days in college, back when he wasnāt a superstar.
He was never a highly-touted prospect or someone big programs went to war for. He had to earn everything the hard way, and he made sure to put his college on the map.
Thatās why, now that heās returned to campus as an assistant GM, he took some time to thank all the players for their commitment to the program and work out with them.

āWhatās up, fellas?ā Curry told the players. āItās kind of surreal, itās been, what, 16 years since I left campus? And to think about where the team is, where the program is right now, the opportunity thatās in front of yāall. Thank you all for committing to this.ā
Curry set an NCAA record for the most three-pointers in a single season and took his small-program college all the way to the March Madness Elite Eight. The rest is history.
Now, heās trying to give back and make sure that young players from all over the world want to follow in his footsteps and also represent the Wildcats with as much pride as he did.
