It’s not a secret that Trevor Bauer is one of the best pitchers in the world right now. It’s also not a secret that he’s a guy that loves to be in control of every single thing that happens around him and his career.

That’s why he’s taking a lot of time to make his free-agency decision. He wants to make sure to land on an ideal spot where he can pitch every 4 days, make a lot of money, and even have the chance to win a World Series.

Well, even if it may seem like he’s asking for too many things, a guy as talented as him in the prime of his career can certainly afford to be picky when it comes to signing the first long-term contract of his career.

MLB Rumors: Trevor Bauer Could End Up With The Toronto Blue Jays

And, according to FanSided, the Toronto Blue Jays could become once again a suitable option for the reigning Cy Young award winner, as they’d reportedly be willing to let him pitch every 4 days and would take his opinion into consideration when it comes to making moves:

“Understandably, he has a passion to win and not just for a couple of seasons, he wants to play for a team that is going to compete and do everything in their power to get power every season. Bauer confesses that his career is too short to play for a team interested in rebuilding. He wants to play for a front office that is open to having a discussion about his desire to pitch every 4th day and be open enough to analyze his data and trends that support his case,” the report read.

The Blue Jays have one of the most promising cores in Major League Baseballright now and they’ve been tied to Francisco Lindor, George Springer, Carlos Carrasco, and pretty much every single big-name player out there.

So, it’s not crazy to think that they will be willing to go the extra mile to tie up at least one of the best available players in the market and pair Bauer with their aceHyun-Jin Ryu, giving them a strong 1-2 punch to try and make a run in the AL East.
