The Mets are riding high following their recent series victory over the Baltimore Orioles. This win fuels their ambition to lead the NL East standings, where they currently share the top spot with the Philadelphia Phillies, a team known for its impressive regular-season performances.

As the All-Star break approaches, the Mets plan to rest key players to gear up for the remaining regular-season matchups. Three Mets players, however, have been selected for the All-Star Game. Notably absent from that list is Soto, despite his standout performance earlier in the season.
