The Golden State Warriors are facing the Houston Rockets in Game 2 of the Western Conference Playoffs, but things aren’t going their way. During the first quarter, Jimmy Butler had to exit the court after suffering a physical setback.

With 2:28 remaining in the first quarter and the Rockets leading 22–15, Butler jumped near his own basket to secure a rebound. The forward successfully grabbed the board, but on his way down, he collided with Amen Thompson, lost his balance, and landed hard on his tailbone.

Jimmy showed clear signs of pain after the incident and had to leave the court to continue receiving treatment from team doctors in the locker room. While he was able to walk off under his own power, the situation appeared serious enough to raise concern among fans.

Jimmy Butler’s injury was compounded by another physical setback for Golden State. Brandin Podziemski also had to head to the locker room after the first quarter due to a stomach issue, according to reporter Anthony Slater, leaving coach Steve Kerr without two key players.

These developments only added to the Warriors’ struggles, as they had already fallen behind to Houston early in Game 2 at Toyota Center. Now, with Butler out for the rest of the night, they face an uphill battle.
