Last summer, the Los Angeles Lakers took a major risk by keeping Kyle Kuzma and not trading him to the New Orleans Pelicans for Anthony Davis. The organization was so high on him that they rathered give in picks than including him on the deal.

Kuzma looked like a rising NBA star. He attended Team USA’s camp and was reportedly a much-improved shooter and defender, getting a lot of praise from Gregg Popovich and even signing a huge deal with Puma.

However, the third-year forward has been far from efficient this season and vastly regressed in all aspects of the game, especially in the playoffs. Still, that hasn’t stopped him from talking his talk and showing how confident he is.

Kuzma is always the first to speak up, call out the haters, post pictures and videos of how good it is to be a Laker, and throw shade at other teams as if he were an All-Star. But, when it’s time to walking the walk, he’s failed to live up to the hype.

That’s why countless NBA fans trolled him on Twitter after he posted a picture with the Western Conference Trophy, mocking him for how poorly he played in the playoffs and how much he likes to talk.

Ok, maybe we’re being too hard on him, and everybody’s important on a team. He did have some contributions off the bench and is as entitled as every other player to take a pic with the trophy.

The thing is that everybody was expecting a lot from him this season, especially given how much he talks and loves calling out the haters. He was supposed to be the third scoring option for them and thus far, he’s failed to live up to that standard.
