Most of his critics often judge LeBron James notbecause of how many rings he has but because of all the NBA championships he’s lost. However, denying his greatness at this point is just pure pettiness.

There’s absolutely no way to deny that LeBron James is one of the greatest, most influential, and most dominant athletes no only in the history of the NBA but in sports as a whole. That’s just a fact, not an opinion.

As a matter of fact, now that he’s clinched his 10th-ever trip to the NBA Finals, this time with the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James now has more appearances at the stage than 27 of the 30 existing NBA Franchises.

LeBron James Tops 27 Franchises With 10th NBA Finals Appearance

As ESPN reported, LeBron James only trails the Los Angeles Lakers (32), Boston Celtics (21), and Golden State Warriors (11) in terms of appearances at basketball’s ultimate stage, breaking his tie with the Philadelphia 76ers.

The fact that there have been six NBA franchises that have never made it to the NBA Finals and 10 teams that have never won an NBA Championship only makes this milestone even more impressive.

We’re talking about a guy that’s been to the NBA Finals in more than half of his years in the league (17). He also made it to 8 consecutive NBA Finals and 9 of the past 10 editions, which is unthinkable by modern standards.

LeBron James has now appeared in 13.5% of all the NBA Finals in basketball history, as per The Ringer’s Rodger Sherman. That’s just incredible, even if he ends up losing again and retires with a 3-10 record.

But, should The King win his 4th NBA Championship, he’d have more rings than 25 of the 30 existing franchises, trailing only the San Antonio Spurs (5), Golden State Warriors (6), Chicago Bulls (6), Los Angeles Lakers (16), and Boston Celtics (17). Legendary.
