The Buffalo Bills enter the upcoming season with high expectations. After securing four contract extensions, including one for franchise quarterback Josh Allen, Bills Mafia is eager to see how the team’s latest additions can help achieve the ultimate goal: bringing a Super Bowl title to Buffalo for the first time.

As one of the highest-paid players in the NFL, Allen cemented his status as an elite quarterback last season, earning the league’s MVP award. Few players can claim that honor, and his recognition played a pivotal role in the team’s decision to extend his contract.

A day after the announcement, Allen met with the media and addressed questions about his future with the Bills. When asked about his MVP season and how it has shaped his mindset moving forward, he reflected on the journey.

“I’m blessed. Sometimes, it’s overwhelming, I struggle to find the right words to describe it. It’s been a heck of a run. But more than anything, the joy of playing football is what fuels me. Going out there and giving it everything I have is what drives me,” Allen said.

I’m very happy for them. All three of those guys absolutely deserve every penny they got,” Allen said. “Selfishly, Khalil [Shakir]—that’s my guy. He’s been huge for us over the last few years. Then TB [Terrell Bernard], he’s obviously the captain of our defense. He’s the heartbeat. Him and Greg are both guys who just do things the right way, whether it’s putting in the work in the training room, the hot tub, the cold tub, whatever it takes.”

Allen further praised their commitment, adding: “They’re the first ones in and the last ones out. So it’s no surprise they earned those extensions.” His words reflected the strong camaraderie within the locker room as the team gears up for the upcoming season.

Bills Mafia is the best,” Allen said. “The people of Western New York are some of the best you’ll ever meet. That’s what I was talking about—the family-like atmosphere, the small-town feel where everybody kind of knows everybody. I’m just very fortunate to be part of a community that loves me as much as I love them.
