This could be a turning-point season in the new era the Denver Broncos are navigating in the league. Itâs become clear that Bo Nix has what it takes to lead this team and heâs already sending a strong message to his rivals: heâll be stepping into the upcoming season far more prepared than he was at the start of his NFL journey.
As teams across the league begin to show their first moves, Sean Paytonâs Broncos are no exception. Thereâs a growing sense of optimism in Denver, with hopes high that they can make a major statement starting in Week 1.
One of those leading the charge is none other than the quarterback himself. In recent comments to the media, he expressed excitement about whatâs ahead, making it clear to his rivals that heâs coming into this new chapter with more experienceâand a strong determination to elevate his game.
âI feel like Iâm a lot further,â Nix said, via the teamâs website. âJust spitting out play calls [is] a lot easier, and processing. ⊠Itâs a lot better. Itâs a lot more enjoyable not thinking right now as opposed to what I was doing last year. Itâs fun. Itâs fun to be in the know.

âItâs fun to have a little bit more of an understanding of whatâs going on so I can be a little bit more beneficial to others and help them out along the way. I feel good. Weâre in a good spot.â

After completing his rookie season, the former Oregon standout showcased an impressive skill set in his debut yearâand now, heâs aiming even higher as he looks to lead the Broncos as deep as possible into the season.
âI havenât done anything up until this point, and I have a lot to prove and a lot to show,â Nix said. âEvery day, itâs [about] working. Every day, itâs finding a way to get better. â⊠Itâs not even worrying about what people say. Just internally, I know I have a long way to go.â
