Following a year of many struggles, the Dallas Cowboys have one of the toughest schedules to begin the NFL season. Notably, they’ll have to meet the reigning Super Bowl champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

And, while squaring up against the best team in the NFL could be quite intimidating for most rookies, that’s not the case with defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa, so seemed completely unfazed by the situation.

As a matter of fact, the rookie DT was confident enough to take a shot at seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, going as far as to explain how to neutralize him. That’s a confident boy.

Cowboys Rookie Osa Odighizuwa Taunts Tom Brady And Says How To Beat Him

“He’s not very mobile,” Odighizuwa said. “I mean, you know, he’s been playing for 21 years. The dude is a little older, not too mobile. I’d say that’s probably what it is. (We have to) Get him off the spot and his passer rating goes down by a lot. So, our role is super important this week as far as getting after him.”

Odighizuwa knows that his words aren’t exactly going to bother one of the most accomplished athletes of all time. Even so, he wasn’t going to let his superstar status stop him from being brutally honest:

“I feel like he’s not a guy who’s too worried about what I’m saying,” Odighizuwa said. “He’s obviously going to be aware of it, but he’s been doing this for a while. People have been saying this, that and a third. He’s been doing his thing.”

You better believe that Brady has heard everything but, even if he’s used to that noise, he still uses it as fuel and motivation. So, even if Odighizuwa is just another rookie with a big mouth, you better believe that Brady’s already taking notes and ready to welcome him to the league.
