Dak Prescott has been sidelined for an extended period after suffering a serious injury during the 2024 NFL season, representing a major loss for the Dallas Cowboys in an otherwise forgettable campaign. Now, the highest-paid quarterback in the league has something to say about his physical condition.

Prescott was injured in Week 9 of the 2024 NFL season, during a game against the Atlanta Falcons on November 3, 2024. In that play, the 31-year-old QB suffered a complete tear of his right hamstring tendon, which partially detached from the bone.

The concern within the franchise grew until November 13, 2024, when he underwent a surgical procedure that officially ended his season. The Cowboys quarterback was placed on injured reserve and missed the final eight games of the regular season.

Dak Prescott’s revelation about his injury

“Dak Prescott said he is fully healthy and ready to go for training camp from his hamstring surgery, pending one more checkup with the team doctors. No surprise considering he took part in all of the drills in the offseason program,” NFL insider Todd Archer reported on his X account (formerly Twitter).
