Deshaun Watson has been inactive since the season began two weeks ago and things don’t look like they will change for NFL week 3. Houston Texans head coach David Culley stated in a press conference, after his team's 31-21 defeat to the Cleveland Browns that Watson will remain inactive.

David Culley stated he has full faith in Davis Mills who has played all but one game with the Houston Texans. Mills struggled tremendously coming on for the injured Tyrod Taylor, who left with a hamstring injury and only completed eight of 18 passes for 102 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

What does this mean for Deshaun Watson now? Well, all signs point to a trade since Watson demanded a trade during the offseason and the Texans are said to be okay with him leaving the team. Although a trade may not come until after the NFL has completed their investigation on Deshaun Watson.

Why is Deshaun Watson under investigation?

Deshaun Watson is facing sexual assault allegations from multiple women, the civil suits against Watson allege that the quarterback forced various women to participate in sexual conduct, one allegation is that he kissed a woman forcefully before a massage appointment. In total there are 22 active civil suits against the 26-year-old.

The NFL began their own internal investigation and will not make a ruling on Watson until after the legal process is finished. That could go as far as next year, leaving Watson as an inactive player, the Texans while keen to move the player are not willing to let him go for less than what he is worth.
