The AFC South will feature the Jacksonville Jaguars, a team in rebuild mode aiming to be serious Super Bowl contenders. Trevor Lawrence believes they can make a splash, especially after the team secured a longtime teammate’s spot on the roster for the upcoming NFL season.

The latest news reports a key move by head coach Liam Coen’s team, who decided to extend the contract of veteran Logan Cooke. The longtime punter agreed to stay for four more years.

The announcement was reported by NFL insider Adam Schefter, who revealed the agreement between the former Mississippi State player and the Jaguars via his official X account (formerly Twitter).

While their goal is clear—to secure a spot in the playoffs—the question remains whether this young squad has what it takes to make a deep run, let alone reach the Super Bowl. The season ahead promises to be a defining one for Jacksonville.
