Thomas has 30 receptions in 60 targets, for 420 yards and just one touchdown. He also has nine drops already. In comparison, he had 65.4% catch rate instead of 50%, he had 1,282 yards and ten touchdowns. “I wouldn’t say he’s behind,” HC Liam Coen said on Wednesday when asked about Hunter’s struggles. “I think we can probably do a better job of helping him in some ways. We had a great talk with Trav after this past game in terms of just man, like, alright, how can we help you and [where can we] put you, because what is he learning? It’s a lot. So, we’ve got to, I think, be a little bit more diligent in terms of putting him in positions to maybe not have to do as many moving parts so that we can just let him go play.”

“I thought he had great communication. We were in and out of the huddle. Had the one delay, but that was really a communication fault of us as coaches. I thought he handled things well. I thought he had not a great third quarter, to be honest.

“You know, we need to be more accurate and complete some of those balls when we have people open, but I thought overall, for his first start in a new system, he handled it really well. He got us in and out of plays. He had to can a lot of plays, and he did it effectively and efficiently. I was proud of his leadership.”
