Le’Veon Bell may be a little biased, I mean he plays on the same team as Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs. Together both players will look to play pivotal roles in the Chiefs aspirations to win back-to-back Super Bowls on Sunday against the unlikely opponent, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, led by NFL legend, Tom Brady. Brady is considered by many to be the greatest NFL player ever and while that legend grows, Brady will be 43 when he takes the field, and playing in his 10th Super Bowl. Mahomes may become the youngest quarterback to win back-to-back Super Bowls at 25. However which way you look at it, this is a Super Bowl that will come down to inches and clearly both teams have the best QB’s in the business.
Mahomes is enjoying another solid season leading the Chiefs to a return trip to the Super Bowl, while Brady, after a rocky start in Tampa, turned back the clock and led the Bucs to their first Super Bowl since 2002.
For Bell, who has been a Chief for only three months, playing alongside Mahomes has exceeded his expectations and he did not hold back in claiming the relatively young Mahomes is the best in the game.
Le’Veon Bell claims Patrick Mahomes is the greatest ever
Le’Veon Bell stated to Myles Simmons of ProFootballTalk: “I’ve always watched him. I always thought he was a great player. Then I came here and then when I came here, that’s when it really hit me, like oh, he might be the greatest player ever, it’s the way he practices, how he goes about his business. … I wish y’all could see the throws he does in practice; it would be unbelievable.” Bell also added, “But my idea of [him], I thought he was like a 10 before I came here. And now I think he’s probably like a 12. That’s about it.”
Patrick Mahomes has quickly become one of the NFL’s best, at only 25 this will be his second straight Super Bowl, he was already named league MVP and Super Bowl MVP. While Mahomes may be a long way away from Tom Brady’s records, early signs indicate that Mahomes will have a very important NFL career.
Super Bowl LV will take place on Sunday 6:30 PM EST, it will be the first Super Bowl played with only 14,500 fans in attendance and with strict Covid-19 protocols.
