Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers have been dealt a tough blow, as a first-round player was reported injured in the game against the Carolina Panthers. The loss will surely hit the entire team hard, especially the defensive line.

According to a report from Adam Schefter, the Steelers have lost first-round defensive tackle Derrick Harmon due to a knee injury. He was unfortunately carted off the field during the game against the Panthers.

It’s a tough pill to swallow for all the players, especially for Rodgers, who needs young talent to help the team. Suffering an injury during a preseason game is a disappointment for any Steelers fan. The injury occurred during a tackle attempt.

It’s worth remembering that Harmon is not only capable of helping Rodgers by protecting the score on defense, but he was also a standout player during his time in college. Tomlin has praised him multiple times, and in April, he said that Harmon “has Steelers DNA.”

Pittsburgh Fans in Shock

Pittsburgh fans were left in a state of shock following the news of Harmon’s injury. They know it could have a major impact on the future of the team’s defensive line in the upcoming NFL regular season. Some fans took to social media, saying they were “praying” for a speedy recovery.
