Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs continue making several moves following the 2025 Draft. The team has confirmed through its social media channels that they have waived safety Will Brooks, a prospect from Tennessee.
Additionally, the Chiefs also waived Justin Lockhart with an injury designation. The wide receiver played college football for the San Jose State Spartans, and no further details about his medical situation were disclosed.
For several days now, general manager Brett Veach has been working on finding undrafted free agents who can boost a roster led by Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, aiming to return to the Super Bowl after the painful loss to the Eagles.
Who just signed with Chiefs?
The Chiefs also confirmed that they have signed several undrafted free agents: Jimmy Holiday (WR), Cooper McDonald (LB), and Major Williams (S). All of this comes as a result of the conclusion of the much-anticipated rookie minicamp. Andy Reid spoke about it.
“It’s great to be back here and to be able to get onto the practice field with some of our young guys. It’s a good group. I think Brett and his gang have done a great job of bringing in some really good football players, whether they were drafted or free agents. It looks like a good crew.”
