It’s important to remember that the Chiefs have plenty of question marks on offense. Rashee Rice will be suspended, though the length is still unknown, and in free agency they lost names like DeAndre Hopkins.
Who are the Chiefs’ running backs now?
At the moment, the Kansas City Chiefs’ depth chart lists Isiah Pacheco, Kareem Hunt, Elijah Mitchell, and Brashard Smith as their available running backs before the start of the 2025 season.
However, injuries are always an unpredictable factor. Reid hasn’t forgotten that in 2024, Pacheco suffered a fractured fibula in Week 2, and although Hunt’s return was a welcome surprise, they will need more power in the backfield to remain contenders in the AFC.
