Kansas City Chiefs are looking to make a strong comeback in the 2025 NFL season, and head coach Andy Reid is finalizing his roster. The Missouri franchise wants to build its team around star Patrick Mahomes in order to compete for the Super Bowl again next season.

Reid knows that to get the best out of each member of the roster, he needs players in peak physical condition. With the necessary depth on the squad, Mahomes could have more options to create scoring opportunities.

The offseason provides an opportunity to optimize the 90-man roster, improving overall performance and meeting the salary cap. In that vein, Reid and the Chiefs have not hesitated to part ways with two offensive players.
