The offseason is proving to be a crucial period for the Buffalo Bills as they look to capitalize on their competitive window after a deep run in the 2024 NFL season. The franchise is focused on surrounding quarterback Josh Allen, who signed a new contract and earned the league MVP award, with more options. At the same time, a former Las Vegas Raiders player is joining the team.

Josh Allen’s record-breaking six-year, $330 million deal with $250 million guaranteed secures his future with the team, meaning the Bills must now focus on surrounding him with key weapons to boost the offensive side of the ball.

When it comes to additions, the Bills have strengthened their defense by signing edge rusher Joey Bosa to a one-year contract and defensive lineman Michael Hoecht to a three-year deal. In recent hours, the Buffalo franchise has made an offensive acquisition.

Who is the new potential key weapon for Allen?

The new offensive player joining the Bills is none other than wide receiver Kristian Wilkerson, who arrives in Buffalo as a free agent, according to the NFL transaction report. Wilkerson, 28, was recently released by the Raiders, the team he spent the last two seasons with.
