The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs will meet again in the Super Bowl of the 2024 NFL season. Head coach Nick Sirianni has indicated that he has new keys to defeating Andy Reid‘s team based on the experience of their last meeting in 2023.

The loss in Super Bowl LVII is still fresh in Sirianni’s mind, as the Eagles came up just three points short in that finale, falling to Reid‘s Chiefs 38-35. It was time for a rematch, and many lessons may have been learned for the Eagles head coach after that night on February 12, 2023.

Patrick Mahomes was named MVP as the Chiefs staged a remarkable second-half comeback to win the Super Bowl against the Eagles. Philadelphia came close, but a Harrison Butker field goal in the final seconds sealed the victory for Kansas City.

“We’ll tweak some things based on last Super Bowl experience. After each week, you talk about what you can do better and what you did well. So we have notes that we’re going through and that we’ve been going through. Couple tweaks here and there of what we will do differently, and a couple things that will stay the same,” revealed Sirianni about the Super Bowl game against the Chiefs.
