To say that Super Bowl LV was frustrating for the Kansas City Chiefs, their players, their coaching staff, and their supporters could be a bit of an understatement. If anything, they experienced a beatdown like they hadn't experienced in quite some time, eventually losing 31-9 to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This clearly wasn't a fitting end to their season as reigning champions, especially considering they had only lost one game in the regular season.

And that frustration was on full display during the first half. Star defender Tyrann Mathieu was flagged during a play and then was seen on the sidelines shouting at Tom Brady, who was also clearly angry at him.

The referees even called Mathieu for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and completely ignored the fact that Brady was also coming at him. Needless to say, that only made 'Honey Badger's' frustration even worse.

Tyrann Mathieu Blasts Tom Brady, Then Deletes Tweets

So, when asked about that altercation with the now seven-time Super Bowl champion, Mathieu decided to take the high road, simply stating: "I never really saw that side of Tom Brady, to be honest. But whatever. I'm over it. No comment."

However, he later took to Twitter to voice his thoughts on what really happened, calling out Tom Brady and claiming that the media is going to throw him under the bus like they always do rather than try and hear both sides of the altercation.

"He called me something I won't repeat but yeah I'll let all the media throw me under the bus as if I did something or said something to him... Go back to my previous games against TB12 I showed him nothing but respect. Look at my interviews about him. I show grace (...) He’s clearly chasing me but I got flagged... lol," Tyrann tweeted.

The defender later deleted the tweets but the evidence was already out in the open. Now, you can't help but question whether Tom Brady actually started things or not, but I guess we'll never know for a fact.
