The Copa America 2021 will resume this Monday, June 21, with thrilling matches. Argentina and Paraguay will meet at Estádio Nacional de Brasília for Matchday 3. La Albiceleste want to keep their good form after their win against Uruguay. Same for Paraguay, who beat 3-1 Bolivia.

Argentina finally got their first win in the tournament against Uruguay last Friday. A lonely goal from Guido Rodríguez, after an assist from Lionel Messi, was enough to take the three points. With more peace of mind, now Lionel Scaloni’s side want to increase their goal average.

On the other side, Paraguay started the tournament with a 3-1 win over Bolivia. Eduardo Berizzo’s side didn’t hold anything back and added their three points thanks to goals from Alejandro Romero and Angel Romero. Now, check out the confirmed lineups of both teams for their upcoming match.

Argentina’s confirmed starting XI

Lionel Scaloni made some changes to the team against Uruguay. And they were successful. For example, Guido Rodríguez started as the defensive midfielder and, not only was the one who scored the goal, but also was a good support for Rodrigo De Paul. Also, Nahuel Molina took the right side and had chemistry with Messi.

Argentina's coach has made many changes for this game. Leandro Paredes, Germán Pezzella, Alejandro Gomez, Sergio Agüero, and Angel Di María will all start. So, Argentina's confirmed lineup is: Emiliano Martínez; Nahuel Molina, Germán Pezzella, Cristian Romero, Nicolás Tagliafico; Leandro Paredes, Guido Rodríguez, Alejandro Gomez; Lionel Messi, Sergio Agüero, Angel Di María.

Paraguay’s confirmed starting XI

After their win, Paraguay will try to get away with some points against the, arguably, best team in the Group. So, Berizzo will put his best possible team on the field, with Alejandro Romero, Angel Romero, and Miguel Almiron right from the beginning.

Paraguay’s confirmed lineup is: Anthony Silva; Alberto Espinola, Gustavo Gómez, Junior Alonso, Santiago Arzamendia; Andrés Cubas, Robert Piris da Motta; Alejandro Romero, Miguel Almirón, Angel Romero; Gabriel Avalos.
