The UEFA European Championship 2020 will resume this Friday, July 2. Belgium and Italy will face off for a place in the semi-finals of the tournament. These two teams are one of the favorites to take the trophy home, but they will have to prove it.
Belgium is coming into this match with a difficult win over Portugal thanks to a solitary goal from Thorgan Hazard. And now, they have another difficult task against the Italians, who defeated Austria 2-1 in extra-time with goals from Federico Chiesa and Matteo Pessina.
This will be the fifth match between Belgium and Italy in major tournaments, including the World Cup. Italy didn’t lose any of those matches, with three victories and one draw. Belgium will try to reach the next round, as they failed to do so in 2016 when losing against Wales (3-1).
