Despite being hit by the injury bug way too often, Christian Pulisic continues to set milestones for American’s in Europe. On Saturday with his goal against Leeds United in week 11 of the English Premier League, Pulisic became the American to reach 10 goals in the EPL the fastest.

Since his arrival to Chelsea last season, Pulisic has been nothing short of sensational, he finished the season strong last year scoring clutch goals for Chelsea and earning man of the match honors against Liverpool. Still, unfortunately, Pulisic has seen his English Football career go through a stop and go motion due to several injuries he has picked up along the way.

This season he has been reduced to only 5 league appearances but that isn’t stopping the American wonderkid from leaving his mark, Pulisic scored the third goal, his first of the season, in a 3-1 victory over Leeds United on Saturday, sending Chelsea to third place in the standings.

Pulisic reaches 10 goals in the EPL

Pulisic scored his 10th EPL goal in 30 games for Chelsea at 22 years of age. Pulisic shares company with three other U.S. Men’s National Team figures such has Roy Wegerle who scored a total of 14 EPL goals, and it took him 49 games to score his tenth. Brian McBride who scored his 10th at 50 games and would go on to score 36 in total, and Clint Dempsey who scored his 10th EPL goal at 62 but would go on to lead American’s in England in goals with 57.

Pulisic will hope to continue his good form and get back to full fitness as Chelsea has a busy schedule in the coming months and in 2021 the USMNT will kick off their World Cup Qualifying campaign.
