The CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifiers continue this Friday with a crucial match between Colombia and Peru at the Metropolitano Stadium in Barranquilla. Los Cafeteros need to secure three points if they want to remain in the qualifying spots on the table, while Oscar Ibanez’s team must deliver an almost perfect performance in the remaining games to keep their hopes alive.

Colombia are sixth on the table with 20 points, in a delicate position. Nestor Lorenzo’s men have struggled to secure a victory in their last four matches. They lost 2-1 to Brazil and drawing 2-2 against Paraguay in the last international window.

Meanwhile, Peru are ninth with only 10 points, and the scenarios are more challenging. After winning 3-1 against Bolivia and then losing 1-0 to Venezuela, Peru can’t afford to drop any points if they want to clinch the playoff spot. They also need favorable results from other matches. With everything on the line, the coaches will field their best available eleven. Check out the predicted lineups.
