Long before the UEFA Nations League, all European countries dreamed of winning the UEFA Euro. Every four years, the best soccer teams in the continent went toe-to-toe to try and win the ultimate distinction.

This year won't be the exception to that rule, as several up-and-coming nations will try and win the tournament, while the biggest teams in the Old Continent will try to defend their top-tier status.

Sadly, as you may know by now, the most-awaited European competition had to be delayed due to health and safety issues, forcing us to wait a whole year before the start of the UEFA Euro 2020.

When Should Euro 2020 Have Started?

The Covid-19 pandemic took a toll on every single aspect of our lives, including sports. That's why the tournament, scheduled to take place in 11 European countries, was originally scheduled to take place from 12 June to 12 July 2020, which obviously didn't happen. So, when will it start now?

When Will Euro 2020 Start?

Finally, the tournament will start on June 11 in Rome, Italy; almost exactly 12 months after it was supposed to take place last year. The knockout stage will begin on June 26, and the Final will take place at Wembley, London, on Sunday 11 July.
