Before Lionel Messi announced to Barcelona his desire to be transferred, Luis Suarez was already on the front page of every newspaper as the new managerRonald Koeman decided to sidelinehim from the squad. For the first time since then, the Uruguayan striker has spoke out and writtena message on Instagram in the middle of the Barcelona crisis.

Koeman wasted no time in making drastic changes. During his first days in charge, he spoke to different players to tell them that they were not going to be in his plans, and that they should find a new club. Among those players was Suárez, who hasn’t made a comment about what’s happening in the Spanish club until now.

Messi’s decision to leave Barcelona put more pressure on Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu, who has been critized by club fans in recent days. And now, with Suárez breaking his silence, there will probbly be more pressure on the club officials.

Luis Suárez, Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic, among other players, were told that they would not be part of Koeman’s plans for next season. And the Uruguayan striker finally spoke out after the manager’s decision.

“There are people using my name and saying things about me, people that I’ve had nothing to do with in years.I’ll speak for myself when that time comes about”, wrote Suárez in an Insta story.The post was accompanied with the hashtag #notodoesverdad, #NotEverythingIsTrue.

The future of Suárez is uncertain. Several teams around the world would like to have the striker on their lines, but he still has to solve his situation with Barcelona. Teams from the MLS, Pemier League and Dutch’ Eredivisie are already interested insigning him.
