Report: Messi to show up for Barcelona's training session on Monday

In the midst of uncertainty about his future, Lionel Messi will show up for Barcelona's training session on Monday, August 31, according to the Argentinean media TyC Sports.

Everyone is talking about Lionel Messiā€˜s next club after the Argentinean star has made the decision to leave Barcelona right away. However, he still has a contract with the Spanish side and wouldshow up for Barcelona’s training session on Monday, August 31.

According to TyC Sports, Messi will appear at Barcelona training as the rest of his teammates, and will be under new manager Ronald Koemanā€˜s orders. The team will return to practice after the disappointing 8-2 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarterfinals.

The ball is on Barcelonaā€˜s side now, which has to decide whether the Argentine trains with the rest of the group or alone. TyC Sports said that Messi will show up no matter what as not appearing for training would be giving the club an edge from a legar pointof view.

Lionel Messi to train under Ronald Koeman’s orders

Barcelona new manager Ronald Koeman will lead Monday’s training session. After his decision to sideline Luis SuĆ”rez, Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic, among others, the Dutch coach will start hisjourney at Barcelona on Monday.

However, Messi won’t be part of his plans, as the Argetine has already told the club board that he wants to leave right away. Messi and Koeman had a tense meeting a few days ago that left the six-time Ballon d’Or winner unconfortable.

Messi wants to leave the Spanish club for free, and Manchester City would seem to be his favorite destination.Barcelona, on the other hand,would not let the superstar go for less than €223M.
