Ricardo Pepi led the way, with one goal and two assists, in a dramatic but exciting night for the USMNT. Gregg Berhalter’s side was struggling against Honduras, losing 1-0 in the first half, until he made some changes and his men responded. Honduras scored the first goal of the match in the first half thanks to a header from Brayan Mora at the 27th minute. The USMNT was struggling to get chances with their rivals playing rough with many fouls. But in the second half the team found their attacking power and the goals came in thanks to Robinson, Pepi, Brenden Aaronson and Sebastian Lletglet.
However, fans weren’t happy with the team's game, especially after failing to win in the first two games of the World Cup Qualifiers. Luckily, the victory relieved some pressure on the team, especially on coach Gregg Berhalter.
