Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr: Storylines

Tyson is that man that knocked out somebody 13 years older than him to become the youngest World Heavyweight champion of all time. After that moment, life, and boxing, were a party for Mike, who went on to become the undisputed champion in 1987, holding that status until he was upset by James “Buster” Douglas in 1990. Tyson’s last fight as a pro happened in 2005, where he lost against Kevin McBride.

Roy Jones Jr, on the other hand, is a former four-division world champion. Jones was as talented as they come, considered one of the greatest fighters of his generation. He made history during his career, going from middleweight to heavyweight, winning championships after championships. After beating John Ruiz to capture the WBA belt, Jones became the first former middleweight champion to win a heavyweight title in 106 years. His last fight, impressively, happened in 2018, when he won via UD.
