Regarding Djokovic’s ownership role, Le Mans announced: “Novak Djokovic, the most successful player in tennis history, brings an unparalleled mental fortitude and innovative approach that will provide immense value. Massa (15 Formula 1 seasons) and Magnussen (10 seasons) will help blend football and motorsport, a unique Le Mans attribute,” the club stated.

Djokovic’s upcoming challenges

The tennis world expects Djokovic to compete in the US Open, though he has declined to participate in the Canadian tournaments. This has been perceived by some as a hint of his nearing departure from professional play, although it’s tied to recuperation after his demanding Wimbledon performance.

Before the US Open, Djokovic will take part in the Cincinnati Masters in mid-August. Post the Grand Slam, he is anticipated to play in the Davis Cup matchup between Turkey and Serbia in September, and later compete in three more tournaments: the Shanghai Masters, Paris Masters, and the ATP Finals.
