This is the first time that a streaming service in the country offers team where women have a bigger role compared to other streaming services where the dominant voice is a male announcer.
Apple TV+ new show, Friday Nigth Baseball, began broadcasting on Friday, April 8 with a couple of test games that were well received by fans and Apple users. The Mets at <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/mlb/mlb-2022-top-5-prospects-to-watch-this-season-20220405-0020.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nationals </a>game and the Astros at the Angels gameswere scheduled by Apple TV+ as the first two games for Friday Night Baseball.

Ronald Acuña Jr did not flat-out say he did not like Freeman but alluded to instances where when he came up from the minors “a lot of veteran players did not like the way I looked (carried himself)”. Sale claims that he wasn’t in a great place mentally when he underwent surgery. Now, while he’s frustrated by missing even more time, he’s trying to take a ‘bigger-picture’ approach to be the best teammate he can be:
“(Negativity) crushed me through the Tommy John stuff,” Sale admitted. “That was bad. I was not in a good spot there. This is not close to that. But it’s still eerily the same feeling that I’m not pulling my weight. But, could be worse. I know that’s something that sounds like a copout from fans looking at me, but it’s the truth. That’s what I have to hold onto right now.”

Baseball’s biggest rivalry was set to take place on April 7th at Yankee stadium, but weather issues have forced the game to be pushed back. On Twitter the Yankees announced: Thursday’s Yankees-Red Sox Opening Day game has been rescheduled due to the forecast of inclement weather. The game will now be played on Friday, April 8, at 1:05pm at Yankee Stadium.

The Minnesota Twins and Seattle Mariners also moved their game due to inclement weather and will play on Friday as well. The Twins announced the change of date on Twitter informing fans that tickets will automatically transfer to Friday’s rescheduled game.
All four clubs will not play any double headers due to the changes as each were supposed to have a day off, rather the days have been switched to accommodate fans who will not need to deal with bad weather conditions.

“Mets ace Jacob deGrom will undergo an MRI on his right shoulder Friday after he felt some tightness while playing catch on Thursday, manager Buck Showalter said. New York scratched deGrom from his scheduled spring training start on Friday,” reported The Athletic.
“The right-hander, the best pitcher in baseball in the first half of last year, missed the final three months of the 2021 season because of forearm and elbow injuries. DeGrom had a 1.08 ERA and 146 strikeouts in 92 innings over 15 starts last season,” the report added.
<h2>What’s Next For deGrom?</h2>
Jacob deGrom is set to make north of $33.5 million this season. He signed afive-year, $137.5 million contract in 2019 but is expected to opt out after this campaign, although he admitted his desire to stay with the Mets for life.
There’s no denying that he’s the best pitcher in baseball by a long stretch when healthy, but constant injury concerns might take a toll on his market value, especially if he can make at least 20 starts in 2022.

Moreover, Cashman admitted that they worked out that trade with the Minnesota Twins merely due to the lack of financial flexibility, as if he wasn’t the one to blame for that very same issue:
“Even the New York Yankees can only operate within what our flexibility and guidelines happen to be,” Cashman said. “Because we’ve spent a lot of money, we had less ability to maneuver on certain opportunities that might’ve existed, so that’s why we got creative. The deal with Minnesota was hatched out of that lack of flexibility.”

While some fans may not be that high on Aaron Boone, there’s only so much a manager and his staff can do when the front office is unwilling to address the team’s needs. Once again, the Yankees will have a lineup that can rake like the best of them, but little else.
