The Phillies head into this contest after losing to the Rangers yesterday by a 2-1 score. Brad Hand pitched one inning, giving up one earned run on one hit while striking out one in the outing, and was credited with the loss.

The Mets enter the contest following a 9-2 loss to the Braves yesterday. Tylor Megill was credited with the loss on the mound after going 5 1/3 innings, giving up three earned runs on four hits while striking out nine.
