Angel Reese is one of the most controversial players in the WNBA currently. Now, the power forward of the Chicago Sky has stirred up more drama with a provocative social media post, taking aim at the entire league over her salary.

Last year, the Chicago Sky used their 7th overall pick in the WNBA Draft to select Angel Reese. Many scouts considered her a top-tier prospect after a remarkable college career at LSU.

While her talent is undeniable, Reese generated more headlines during her rookie season with her off-the-court actions. Now, she has done it again by criticizing the WNBA over her current salary.

Reese frequently reminded people that she should have been the top pick over Clark. However, it seems that her current frustration with the league is centered around something else.

Reese played for Rose BC in the inaugural season of Unrivaled, the women’s 3-on-3 basketball league. Not only did her team win the first-ever title, but she was also named Defensive Player of the Year and took home $50,000 in prize money.

Indiana Fever guard Sydney Colson jokingly told Reese on X that she would be happy to take that $50K off her hands. However, Reese responded by saying she really needed the money due to her low salary under her rookie contract.
