Duke may have found a replacement for Cooper Flagg, but there's a catch

The Duke Blue Devils could get another star, but they will have to wait a little longer for him.

Throughout the course of history, the Duke Blue Devils have had more talent and future stars than arguably every other program in college basketball. That’s just how they operate.

They had Cooper Flagg last season, and they’ve now landed the Boozer twins, Cameron and Cayden, to make up for that loss while they wait for another top-notch recruit.

According to a report by Dushawn London of 247Sports, they may have found him already. Unfortunately, they’re going to have to wait for a little longer before he arrives on campus.

Duke could get an elite recruit for 2026

“Recruiting News: Duke will meet with five-star prospect Christian Collins at his school tomorrow. Collins is ranked No. 3 in the class of 2026,” London reported.

Collins is a 6-foot-8 combo forward with two-way upside, and he’s currently the third prospect in the nation behind only his teammate Brandon McCoy and Tyran Stokes.

He reportedly has offers from 15 Division I programs, and he got his first offer almost two years ago. Duke will have to fight with the likes of Kansas, Alabama, USC, and UCLA, among many others, but you always have to like their chances.
