Over the past year or so, former NBA player Rashad McCants has had his fair share of questionable takes. He wasn’t a good or popular player in the league, but he’s made the most of other players’ platforms to voice his thoughts.

Notably, his latest rant didn’t rub one of his former teammates the right way. HE called out legendary UNC coach Roy Williams for not being with him during the NBA Draft, and Raymond Felton wasn’t having it.

That’s why, during the latest edition of his “To The Baha” podcast, he told fellow hosts Theo Pinson, Tyler Relph, and Kameron Wilkerson that McCants was ‘a clown’ for that statement.

Raymond Felton says Rashad McCants is ‘a clown’

“He’s a clown. He’s a f*** boy,” Felton said. “And to all these talking on Twitter, talking about seeing somebody, seeing all that, come see me. Yeah, come see me. I want all of it, all the smoke, wherever, whenever.”

Felton then doubled down on his criticism by mocking McCants for his failed NBA career, adding that he had no one to blame but himself for not being able to stay there for long:

You talk about our coach who was doing nothing but being great to us, and you win lottery,” Felton said. “You a lottery complainer, so it’s Coach Williams’ fault that you didn’t play that long in the league. That’s his fault too, right? That’s your fault.”

Being as outspoken as he is, it won’t be long before McCants claps back at Felton, and it wouldn’t be strange to see this beef escalate for weeks. The class reunion will most definitely be awkward.
