The James Harden saga is one of the most recurrent topics in the NBA right now, with the Houston Rockets star’s future up in the air after he requested a trade from the team a couple of weeks ago.
Harden has been linked mostly with the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers, but the situation now points out that the shooting guard could be taking his talents to the city of brotherly love this season, as the Sixers have reportedly made Ben Simmons available in trade talks.
This is a complete surprise for everybody, as Daryl Morey recently claimed the Sixers didn’t have intentions of sending Simmons away but now things are different for the team. Of course, nobody is pleased with this in Philadelphia and Simmons himself reacted to those rumors.

Simmons is focused on helping the renewed Sixers get to the promised land this campaign in an Eastern Conference that will be very hard for everybody. This seems to be the last chance he’ll have to show he can do good things alongside Joel Embiid in Philly and seeing these rumors, the clock might be ticking faster than we thought.
Daryl Morey made it clear that he’s not trading Simmons but these rumors don’t come out of nowhere. Something is going on in Philadelphia and Houston and that could be exposed in the short future.
