Ever since he made it to the NBA in 2003, LeBron James has been a subject of controversies. Some people never liked him because of the comparisons with Michael Jordan, while most fans have always acknowledged his talent and impact.

Obviously, the media has often targetted LeBron James as well. That doesn’t come as a surprise, as they know that talking about The King – for better or worse – is going to draw the people’s attention.

That’s why James has been eager to call the press out and hold the media accountable for the countless narratives they’ve created about him as a player or a person, especially over the past couple of years.

LeBron James Calls Out The Haters And Naysayers

James recently had an interview for the Road Trippin’ podcast and opened up about multiple subjects, such as the Los Angeles Lakers’ new roster, his plans for the future, and even how he feels about the media:

“Just from people that really… that the basketball world because there’s people on TV and there’s writers that write that people in the basketball world really listen to and they really believe.I’m not going to give any of those names on this show because they don’t deserve it. That continue to discredit or continue to not to understand what the drive that I put into it,” James said.

“They talk about these players ‘He doesn’t have that same drive as him’ or ‘He doesn’t have that same mentality as those if he did…’ and they see what I continue to accomplish. So it was a reassurance to myself. But it was also like to the naysayers and to the haters which will always be there even after I’m done playing,” he concluded.

Obviously, there are also countless reporters and insiders that have made a living out of stating facts and not sharing opinionated stories to create a false narrative. But for the rest of them, know that LeBron doesn’t want to hear about any of you.
