The Tampa Bay Buccaneers didn’t have the best presentation against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday night, succumbing for the third time this2020 NFL season ina38-3 blowout against Drew Brees and co. Tom Brady was nothing like the player we know he is, suffering several interceptions during the game, playing like a rookie QB.

This result meant the first time TB12 was swept by a divisional rival in his 20-year NFL career. Brady didn’t look like that player that everybody likes to call the ‘GOAT‘ and he was humbled by Drew Brees and the Saints in a magical performance for them.

The team, and the offense especially, didn’t have a good game and that cost Brady to work more than necessary, which ultimately led to this embarrassing loss. Everybody wanted to find somebody to blamefor this and it looks like Bruce Arians found it. The head coach didn’t hesitate to throw shade at Tom Brady, although he tried to be subtle.

Bruce Arians criticizes Tom Brady after 38-3 loss against Saints

Arians didn’t wait to send a message for his quarterback and the way he played on Sunday night, explaining that some players were open and didn’t get targeted while others ran routes properly but Brady couldn’t throw a good pass at them.

“The one to Chris [Godwin] — Chris read the route properly, [but] Tom thought he was going deep,” Arians told reporters. “He stopped [and] those things can happen sometimes when you’re doing it on the run.”

If that wasn’t enough, he accused Brady of not targetting Mike Evans enough, something that hurt the Bucs’ chances to win this important game.

Of course, fans weren’t having any of that and they took to social media to show their thoughts about this situation. Some said Arians didn’t have the right to call out Brady while others simply joked that this was Antonio Brown’s effect on the team’s locker room.

This is trouble in paradise. Things were really bad for one game and the head coach is already putting the blame on his quarterback. This is not a good situation for the team and if they want to succeed this campaign, these types of comments need to disappear.
