Now, fans are eager to see where Adams will land. While he has followed Rodgers for most of his career, he may have a new destination in mind—one that doesn’t include the veteran quarterback.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Adams prefers to play on the West Coast. However, with few teams there currently in need of a quarterback, another reunion with Rodgers seems unlikely.

The Raiders remain the only team that could pair Adams with Rodgers again, which could pave the way for his return to Las Vegas. However, other West Coast teams—such as the Broncos, Chargers, and 49ers—may be more focused on acquiring an elite wide receiver rather than a quarterback.

Why did the Jets release Davante Adams?

Last year, the Jets traded a third-round pick to the Raiders to acquire Adams, hoping to rekindle his chemistry with Rodgers. However, the move didn’t pay off as expected.
