Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers continue to strengthen the wide receiver position. In addition to having DK Metcalf, George Pickens, Calvin Austin, and Scotty Miller, the team’s front office signed another familiar player, according to a report from Ian Rapoport.

“The Steelers are re-signing WR Ben Skowronek, source said, as he’s back with Pittsburgh after playing for them in 2024. Deal done by Roosevelt and Jovan Barnes.”

Now, the last missing piece in their offense is the quarterback position. They have already made an offer for Aaron Rodgers, and all reports indicate that Russell Wilson is not an option to return to Pittsburgh.

Additionally, the Steelers signed quarterback Mason Rudolph today. After spending the 2024 season with the Tennessee Titans, the player returns to the team that drafted him in 2018.

At the moment, Rudolph and Skylar Thompson are the only quarterbacks on the depth chart, awaiting the resolution of Aaron Rodgers’ situation. As previously mentioned, Russell Wilson hasn’t even had discussions about returning.
