Jordan Love was one of the standout performers for the Green Bay Packers last NFL season, despite not being able to fully showcase his game due to injuries. Heading into this campaign feeling physically 100%, the talented quarterback knows the team has what it takes to make a strong push and be contenders once again in the league.

The start of last season was unfortunately marked by a knee injury for Love, which, according to the former Utah State quarterback himself, bothered him throughout the entire year.

However, in a recent conversation with the media, Love expressed that he’s feeling much better regarding the issue and is confident he’ll be able to implement different strategies during games—ones he had to avoid last season due to the physical setback.

“I was dealing with an injury last year, but I think a big part of my game that I was missing was being able to get on the move, scramble a little bit more, take off and run and sometimes just extend plays — create some more off-schedule plays, I think, is a big part of the offense that we were missing that I didn’t do as well of a job on. So, that’s definitely something I’m trying to focus on going into this year,” Love said in an interview with Rich Eisen.

Jordan Love #10 of the Green Bay Packers looks to pass the ball against the New Orleans Saints during the third quarter at Lambeau Field on December 23, 2024 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The numbers Jordan Love will look to improve starting in Week 1 refer to his production from last season with the Packers, where he had just 25 rushing attempts for 83 yards and one touchdown in 2024.

Love hopes to keep Jaire Alexander in Green Bay

Achieving great results in the NFL often goes hand in hand with having a roster that’s up to the challenge. That’s exactly what Jordan Love wants for his Packers, who have recently been at the center of serious trade rumors involving their star cornerback, Jaire Alexander.

“That’s my guy right there. He’s definitely a player we need back. Just the playing style he plays with, who he is on the field, I mean, that’s a guy we need to have around. So, you know, we’ll see what happens. I’m hoping Ja’s still there with us, we’ll see,” Love stated in an interview with Kay Adams on the Up & Adams show.

It will be a matter of seeing how things unfold in the coming weeks, and whether the quarterback’s desire to keep one of his main teammates on the Packers can ultimately come to fruition.
