Neymar will not play against Venezuela due to yellow card accumulation; this will force Tite to reshape his line up as Brazil is predicted to field: Alisson, Danilo, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Guilheme Arana, Fabinho, Gerson, Everton Ribeiro, Lucas Paquetá, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Barbosa.

Neymar is set to return for Brazil on Sunday, October 10th away against Colombia, meanwhile Tite is using his comfortable position in the standings to try new things with Brazil as he noted in a press conference, “Our campaign allows us to open for opportunities. It wasn't possible in the campaign for the 2018 World Cup… We are trying to grow and have players with different characteristics. Gerson, for example, is different from Fred. It is all about how you assemble.”
