As Klay Thompson recently made headlines for his relationship with Megan Thee Stallion, speculation is now swirling around former WNBA standout Liz Cambage and Houston Rockets star Kevin Durant, after the two were spotted together at Drake’s latest concert.
The buzz began on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, when Cambage shared an Instagram Story featuring her alongside Durant. She captioned the post “Shooters only,” tagged Durant, and posed as if she were taking a basketball shot.
Both appeared to be in good spirits, smiling for the camera. In her following post, Cambage shared a clip of Drake performing on stage, further fueling the chatter online.
However, for now, it’s unclear if there’s anything romantic between the two or if they’re simply friends enjoying a night out. Neither of them has commented publicly on their relationship.
Liz Cambage’s WNBA legacy
Cambage, the No. 2 pick in the 2011 WNBA Draft, built an accomplished basketball career that included stints with the Tulsa Shock, Dallas Wings, Las Vegas Aces, and Los Angeles Sparks, along with international stops in China and Australia.
A four-time WNBA All-Star, her last league appearance came in 2022 with the Sparks. The Australian star is currently playing for the Sichuan Yuanda of the Women’s Chinese Basketball Association.
Durant, meanwhile, is preparing for his first season in Houston after being dealt in a massive seven-team trade this offseason. The veteran forward has previously suited up for the Seattle SuperSonics/Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, and Phoenix Suns, winning two championships and earning numerous All-Star nods along the way.
