Angel Reese is once again proving she knows how to turn criticism into opportunity. The Chicago Sky forward, already making waves on the court and in business, has launched a new line of merchandise centered around a term that started as a social media jab. But this isn’t just about merch, as she is using it to make a statement and give back.
The “mebounds” line, now available on her official website, features T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, and hats. The phrase originated from a viral TikTok post poking fun at Reese’s habit of rebounding her own missed shots.
Rather than taking offense, Reese trademarked the term and flipped it into a personal brand. A portion of the proceeds from every sale will support the Angel C. Reese Foundation’s efforts to combat cyberbullying.
“I love when y’all troll,” Reese said in a recent TikTok. “The ideas be good.” In the same post, she declared the new “mebounds” brand to be a six-figure venture, which will add to her already impressive net worth.
The Chicago Sky forward has been open about her business plans. Apart from her own merchandise, she also has her own podcast, Unapologetic Angel, and has deals with multiple brands, including McDonalds, Beats by Dre, Mielle, Tampax, Good American and Hershey’s Reese’s Piece Candy.
Reese will have her own signature shoe in 2026
On the other hand, Reese is one of the only six active WNBA players who will have her own signature shoe, which will be released in 2026 with Reebok. The Chicago Sky star extended a multi-year deal with the clothing brand in 2024.
And as if her off-court hustle weren’t impressive enough, Reese continues to shine in her second WNBA season. In 2025, she became the second-youngest player in league history to record a triple-double, posting 11 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists in a win over the Connecticut Sun.
