It’s a big round of qualifying games in Concacaf as the Octagonal begins to shape up. The USMNT will look to get their first win at home against Jamaica, who have disappointed at the start of qualifying. Mexico will play host to Canada who will look for at least a historic point from Azteca.
Honduras will want to bounce back after their debacle performance against the USMNT in which they were winning until it all fell apart. While Costa Rica will want to turn back the clock and get a win that will position them at the top of the standings.
Panama is favored against a difficult El Salvador side, the oddsmakers at DraftKings have put out the odds and we have the best picks for the 4th round of Concacaf World Cup qualifying.
USA - Jamaica
In a virtual must win game for the USMNT (-320) Gregg Berhalter’s team will need the three points when playing at home against a talented but down and out Jamaica (+750). With the monkey off their backs the USMNT can finally give the home crowd something to cheer about and should defeat Jamaica.
Honduras - Costa Rica
Fabián Coito gets another crack at it and his Honduras (+170) side will be at home against a Costa Rica (+180) team that has been equally unimpressive. Honduras will need to get three points and fast to stay on track for the automatic qualifying spots. Look for a tight contest and a draw is not out of the question at +185.
Mexico - Canada
Mexico (-200) is on top of the standings and will take on a deadly Canadian (+550) side that could steal something from Azteca. While it could be a dog fight Mexico should get the win and continue their course for yet another World Cup appearance.
El Salvador - Panama
El Salvador (+210) has been a difficult opponent but have not gotten the points to prove it, Panama (+150) got a big win and are undefeated so far, this game will be huge especially if they can get something on the road. Both teams may have to be content with a draw (+185).
